Works with Meetup

Keep your group on Meetup. Fill the room from everywhere else.

Paste your Meetup event link and we read it from its page. Hand out QR codes and tracked links in the places your members aren't already looking, and see which ones work. People RSVP on Meetup as they always have. On Meetup Pro, connect your account to publish events to your group from here and bring the RSVPs back.

What you get

On top of Meetup

Every way in, tracked

A page, a QR code, an email address people register by writing to, share cards and personal invites. Each carries its own code, so every registration says where it came from, UTM tags included.

QR codes for posters and slides

One for the page, one that opens a ready-to-send registration email. Scans are counted per code; after the event, codes point to the next one.

Reminders in their own thread

The day before and shortly before it starts, with their join link and what they said they hoped to get. Replies like "cancel" or "+1 colleague@company.com" just work.

Listed in Explore events

Turn on listing and the event is in /explore, its feeds and on other hosts' pages; every registration it brings is counted.

Who filled the room

Speakers and partners get kits with their own link, QR code and card; every registrant gets a share link of their own. The leaderboard counts who brought whom.

One tap next time

People who ask to be remembered register for your next session in one tap on that browser. A series gives every session one link and a calendar to subscribe to.

How it works

  1. 1

    Paste the Meetup link

Or write it in a sentence. The page is read for its details.

  2. 2

    Print the codes

QR codes as SVG, PNG, PDF or EPS for posters, slides and the venue door.

  3. 3

    People RSVP on Meetup

After registering here they're shown the Meetup page to RSVP there too, so your group's numbers stay whole.

  4. 4

    Mark who came

When Meetup is connected, RSVPs and who was marked attended come back on their own. Otherwise paste Meetup's attendee export after the event; the follow-up goes to who came and who didn't.

Good to know

Meetup's API is for Pro
Publishing to your group and reading RSVPs back work only when you connect a Meetup Pro account. Meetup shares members' email addresses only with some Pro accounts, and an RSVP without one stays on Meetup. Without a connection, RSVPs stay on Meetup and attendance is a pasted export.

Questions

Will members have to sign up twice?

Members who find you on Meetup RSVP there as usual. The ways in are for everyone else, the people who see a poster, a post or a partner's newsletter, and they're shown the Meetup page after registering.

Is it free for a small group?

Yes. Free covers a few live events at a time with every way in, reminders and follow-ups, and registrations are never capped.
