Cookies
Programmable, LLC · Programmable Talk · last updated October 13, 2026
The short version
Programmable Talk doesn't use advertising or analytics cookies, or anything that tracks you across other sites. That's why there is no cookie banner. The cookies we set either make the Service work (signing in) or are asked for at the moment they're useful: being remembered for one-tap registration, and loading another company's video player.
What we set
| Name | What it's for | How long | Kind |
|---|---|---|---|
logto_… | Signing in to the dashboard (hosts and their teams). Holds your encrypted sign-in session. | Until you sign out, or it expires (up to 14 days) | Strictly necessary |
after_sign_in | Remembers which dashboard page to return to after you sign in. | 15 minutes | Strictly necessary |
pt_who | Remembers you on this browser so registering for the next event is one tap: your name and email address, signed so they can't be changed. Set only when you ask for it. | 1 year, or until you choose “Forget me” or “Not you?” | Functional, with your consent |
pt_embeds_ok | Browser storage (not a cookie): which video providers you said to load without asking again. | Until you clear it | Functional, your choice |
Other companies' cookies
- Video players. A live room can show a player from YouTube (in its privacy-enhanced mode), Vimeo, Loom, Wistia, Twitch or a video-call service. Nothing from them loads until you press “Load the player”. Once loaded, the player can set its own cookies, under that company's policy.
- Joining a call elsewhere. A “Join on Zoom” (or similar) button opens that service in a new tab, under its own policy.
- Paying. When hosts pay for a plan, they do it on Stripe's own checkout page, which uses Stripe's cookies to prevent fraud.
- Network protection. Cloudflare, which protects and delivers our pages, may set a strictly necessary cookie (such as
__cf_bm) to tell people from bots. It identifies no one.
Fonts are delivered from our own servers, so your browser doesn't contact Google to show them.
Your choices
You can remove “remember me” with “Not you?” on any registration form, or “Forget me on this browser” on your personal page. Your browser's settings can delete or block any cookie; blocking the sign-in cookie stops the dashboard working, but registering for events works without cookies.
