How to do the common things
Short answers, each saying where it's done. Can't find it? Write to support@programmable.you.
Making an event
How do I make an event?
Press New and say it in a sentence ("a webinar on pricing, Thursday at 1pm, 30 places"), or paste its Luma, Eventbrite, Zoom or Meetup link. You're asked only what's missing, and shown what will happen before anything is made.
Can I pick any date and time?
Yes: under the suggested times there's a day and time picker, in the event's time zone. You can also type it ("Nov 12 at 10am PT") or decide later.
How do I ask my own questions on the sign-up form?
Event → Settings → Sign-up form: short or long answers, a choice, a checkbox, a phone number or a link, each optionally required. Answers show on Registrants and in its spreadsheet.
Can I approve each registration?
Turn on "Approve each registration" under Sign-up form. People hear their request is in; Approve or Decline them on Registrants.
How do I cancel an event?
Event → Settings → Cancel this event, with a note if you like. Everyone with a place or on the waitlist is emailed, and the event comes off their calendars.
Getting people there
Where are my links and QR codes?
Event → Promote: a link and QR code per channel, each counting who it brings, invitations to people you know, kits for speakers and partners, and a reward for bringing people.
When do reminders go?
A day and an hour before, by default. Change the times and add your own words in Event → Campaign → Reminders; with Twilio connected, people who ask also get a text.
How do campaigns work?
Event → Campaign: posts, emails and hand-offs at times around the event ("a week before", "the day after"). An email can be formatted, previewed, sent to you as a test, and tried with two subjects.
Running the session
Who can talk in a call made here?
In a Daily or LiveKit room, Webinar (the default) lets only you, your speakers and whoever you bring on stage talk; Meeting lets everyone. Go backstage to get ready before the audience comes in.
How do speakers join?
From their kit (Promote → Kits): "Join the session as a speaker" takes them in on stage, before the audience.
Can I record it?
In a Daily room, Record (on your Daily plan) records it, and it becomes the replay by itself once it's over. Captions make a transcript, shown on After.
Can I stream it to YouTube or LinkedIn?
Live tab → Stream it to: add YouTube, Twitch, LinkedIn or Restream, then Go live from the room. It goes out on your own Daily or LiveKit.
After it
How do I follow up?
Event → After: the recording, a note, answers to questions and the next date, to those who came and those who missed it. It can send itself.
Can I ask how it went?
After → Feedback: a 0–10 question (for a Net Promoter Score) and your own; a button goes in the follow-up and on each person's page.
Can I keep getting registrations for the recording?
Sign-up form → "Keep taking registrations for the recording": once it's over, its page asks people to register to watch it.
Your account
How do I add my team?
Settings → Team: invite editors (they run events) or viewers (they read and export), with every event or only some.
Which emails do I get?
Settings → Notifications, for yourself: the brief, steps waiting for you, registration notices and tips.
Where are my invoices?
Settings → Billing, with a link to view or download each one.
